My experience setting up a blog

   Never have I ever thought of setting up a blog. However, here I am writing this post for MUET class. I am so thankful to teacher for this assignment because, it has given us the opportunity and experience to set up our very own blog. Meanwhile, while I was setting up my blog, I realized I had faced some difficulties. For instance, getting familiar with the blog tools, coming up with a blog title, and arranging the blog's layout.

   When I first opened blogger to create my blog, I was stunned because I didn't know what to click. After clicking the create a blog option on the left side bar, it opened to a white blank page. At its left side is all the tools needed to create the blog. I have clicked on each one and realized that I didn't know some of its purposes. Nevertheless, I carried on creating the blog, starting with the most familiar part that is writing the blog's first post. After posting the first post, I finally understood how it works because I got to see the blog's layout and successfully linked the tools related to the layout.

   Furthermore, before creating the blog, I also faced the difficulty on coming up with the blog's title. I came up with many names but it was very hard to pick. For example, I made titles like dive into form 6, what is form 6?, why form 6?, life in form 6 and so on. In consequence, I texted my friend for an opinion. In the end, I chose experiencing form 6 as the blog's title.

   Lastly, arranging the blog's layout was quite difficult for me too. It was confusing. While I was creating the blog, it didn't show me the true layout of the blog. I thought I could create the blog like creating a powerpoint or a words document where you could see where it goes and have control. Instead, creating a blog is so much more different. Although after posting the first blog, you can preview it, there is still this feeling of uncertainty. Nonetheless, I just carried on and slowly got used it and finally I have succesfully arranged the layout of the blog to my liking.

   In a nutshell, setting up a blog for the first time can be very difficult. Eventually after creating many posts, the blog tools have become familiar and fortunately, the blog has been created. I am so happy and thankful for the skills that I have gained while creating this blog. Thanks for reading! 💖
